Why Kaspersky is Our #1 Antivirus Choice



Managing your security is a crucial part of running a business. Calance began looking for a new Antivirus solution when it became clear that our current solution was not up to the industry standards. We researched multiple vendors, checked industry trusted advisory firms (Gartner), and after testing a short list of candidates, decided to use Kaspersky.

Antivirus applications as a whole are only a small part of a company’s overall IT Security. However, they are the ones that most directly impact the end-user's experience. We were very careful in looking at Kaspersky from both the administration side, as well as the end-user side. We wanted to see what impact, if any, the program would have on the end user and were incredibly happy with the results of our testing. We were able to deploy the program in our environment with zero user interaction, and control all aspects of its protection and exceptions with zero interruption to our users.

We are very happy with the results we have seen from Kaspersky in our own environment; from the seamless connection to remote users and the update of their definitions and policies wherever they are in the world, to the easy-to-read reports that can be scheduled or generated ad-hoc.


While Kaspersky has options for businesses of all sizes and infrastructures, one of my favorite options is having separate deployment agents for both physical and virtual devices. As the two run much differently in some respects, they should have programs that work along with that to reduce CPU usage where possible. Kaspersky does this and we have seen its results in action.

After we implemented Kaspersky in our environment, we began looking to our clients and their current Antivirus products and found that many were lacking in a lot of areas that were important to their business, especially security.

Working with the team at Kaspersky, we were able to see what needs were most important to our clients, and offer them real time demonstrations of the Kaspersky admin server. The technical experts at Kaspersky were amazing with answering our questions in a clear and concise manner.

Support from Kaspersky has been spectacular. I have been in IT for almost 15 years and I have never seen a company more dedicated to its customers - willing and as importantly able to assist with any part of their product. From the sales team, to the technical resource team, all go above and beyond to help their customers have the most protected environment they can.

Similar to any big purchase decision, hindsight is always 20/20. Luckily for us, we are completely happy with our decision to use and promote Kaspersky to our clients and look forward to working with Kaspersky for years to come.
